What we do
How the troop works.

Scout-Led
Scouts run the troop. An elected Senior Patrol Leader guides patrols of about a dozen scouts who plan the meetings, the menus, and the trips — with trained adults supporting from the back.

Outdoors, Every Month
One or two nights out, nearly every month: Sunset Beach, Castle Rock, Angel Island, Manresa. Summer means a week at camp in the Sierra. Older scouts take on Philmont's 50+ mile trek, Northern Tier canoe expeditions, backpacking, and snow camping in the mountains.

Service
Scouting for Food, Hope's Corner, Sunday Friends, Memorial Day flag planting, the Kiwanis tree lot — plus supporting many Eagle projects.
Why us
What makes Troop 75 a little different?
We get outdoors. Camping or backpacking nearly every month, plus bigger adventures such as Half Dome, Philmont, 50-milers and summer camp.
Genuine youth leadership. Our scouts plan the meetings, run the campouts, and cook the meals, backed by an adult advisory team with 50+ years of Scouting experience and a troop that's been developing scouts since 1963.
No scouts get lost in the crowd. Every new scout is paired with a dedicated Troop Guide during their first year to help them make friends, learn the ropes, have fun, and advance.
Broad community. We meet at Grant Park in Los Altos with over 50 scouts, drawing families from Los Altos, Cupertino, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, and other local communities.
